Dangerous Cold Conditions Coming Into Midwest

Strong arctic air is in the process of pushing into the Midwest causing very dangerous conditions. The coldest temperatures will be seen late Friday night into early Saturday morning with sub zero temperatures that could exceed -20 degrees in some areas. On top of the extreme cold temperatures, there will be strong gusty winds in the area that can result in wind chills to drop to 50 degrees below zero! Minneapolis and Milwaukee will potentially see wind chill values dip below -20 degrees. At those levels, frostbite of exposed skin can occur in as little as ten minutes, so limit your time outdoors this Valentines Day Weekend.
