The Pacific Northwest has been blasted with a series of storms producing strong damaging winds and flooding rains. One last storm system will move through the region Saturday afternoon through Sunday.
Category 3 Hurricane Nicole lingers next to Bermuda, bringing hurricane force winds to the island. With maximum wind gusts of 125 mph (200 km/h) being produced by Nicole, major damages to the island are expected.
A winter-like set of storm systems are barreling across the Pacific on a collision course with the Pacific Northwest. This carousel of storms will bring torrential rain to a wide swath from California to British Columbia.

Hurricane Nicole continues to crank up winds over the Atlantic. After meandering around the open sea for several days Nicole is starting to move north, with Bermuda in its path. Following a long stretch as a tropical storm, Nicole has intensified into a strong Category 2 hurricane and will bring battering winds to the British Territory.
