It’s that time of year again when those gorgeous autumn yellows and reds are starting to blanket the ground. A northerly wind sends a shiver down the spine and reminds us that winter is right around the corner. Everybody’s favorite tropical vacation spots are booked solid for months. But you just finished work on that big Peterson account and you just want to get away for a few days! Why not try Venus?
We’re only about halfway through autumn, but many are already wondering what the upcoming winter has in store. Will it be dry or will the snow blower be needed regularly? Will it be mild or bone chilling cold? While it’s not possible to answer these questions for any specific winter day this far out (despite what some may claim), it is possible to get an idea on the overall trend expected for the cold season.
After record setting temperatures on Halloween, warm weather continues from the Central Plains to the Midwest and Southeast. Tuesday’s high temperatures for locations in Tennessee could break records all the way back from 1935!
A fall warm-up is underway in the central U.S. just in time for Trick-or-Treating! Locations from Denver, CO to Wichita, KS could see the warmest Halloween since 1950!
