Tropical Storm Hermine has dumped between 5 and 8 inches of rain from Pensacola to Tampa, Florida, northward through adjacent southern Georgia. Heavy rain and flooding will continue to be the main threat, but some gusty winds and a few tornadoes are possible as well!
With many cities experiencing above average to record breaking heat this summer, some cool relief is on the way for the Northeast and Midwest late this week into the Holiday Weekend.
Hurricane Gaston has waved goodbye to North America, and has turned toward Europe. We’re still dealing with two tropical depressions in the states though, with one likely to become Tropical Storm Hermine Tuesday.
