Severe storms are expected to develop by mid- to late afternoon Tuesday over portions of the Missouri Valley and Ozark regions. These storms will spread east and northeast through the evening. Destructive winds, very large hail, and even a couple of isolated tornadoes will occur!
Unusual February weather continues for the Northeast on Saturday with a threat of severe thunderstorms.
The recent warm spell across much of the Northern Plains and Upper Midwest has come to an abrupt end on Thursday. A major winter storm will drop more than a foot of snow with dangerous near-blizzard conditions in spots through Friday. To the south, severe storms are expected on Friday from the Ohio Valley to the eastern Great Lakes.
