The Avalon Hotel is situated in the centre of the Swedish city of Gothenburg and offers its guests a swimming pool on the hotel roof. Nothing unusual, you’ll be thinking now, right? The pool landscape extends over several levels and hanging gardens. The Hanging Gardens Pools are called such as they “hang” directly above the jungle. Anyone who is in the pool enjoys incredible natural scenery round them as the hotel is situated in the middle of the jungle in Bali. And if you don’t want to share the pool, every single villa has its own infinity pool.

Golden Nugget Hotel, Las Vegas, USA

To get noticed in Las Vegas and stand out among the mass of hotels and attractions, requires something really pretty extraordinary. The Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino definitely offers this with its pool that is known as “The Tank”. What initially looks like an aquarium with sharks is actually a pool with an enclosed area for the animals. The shark pool is therefore in the middle of the pool landscape. Swimming guests can slide right through the drifting sharks in a safe plexiglass tunnel. Well, would you simply jump into this kind of pool?
