A low pressure system in Oklahoma will move slowly along a stationary front on Wednesday. This system will move northeast through the end of the week, leaving areas of heavy rain.
A stationary front will cause rain to continuously fall across the Midwest Wednesday into Thursday, resulting in a possibility for large rainfall amounts. Across St. Louis and Indianapolis, there is a potential for 4-6 inches of rain to fall. As the system shifts to the northeast, the threat will become more prominent for the Ohio Valley, causing areas to see up to 4 inches with localized higher amounts on Thursday and Friday. As a result, flooding is a possibility for some areas, especially low baring locations.
