Whether celebrating Easter this weekend or simply enjoying the outdoors, Morecast provides a glimpse into Sunday’s weather forecast.
Northeast
- Above normal temperatures will make it feel like summer is right around the corner. High temperatures will range from the 60s to high 70s for much of the Northeast. Northern Maine will be slightly cooler with highs in the upper 50s.
- A chance of rain could accompany much of the warmer weather Sunday, although most of the East coast cities remain dry. For interior Pennsylvania, evening thunderstorms also become a risk.
Midwest
- Rain will stretch from the Northeast back into the Midwest. The western half of the Midwest states will remain dry and sunny after a rainy Saturday. Thunderstorms are possible in southern Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio.
- Temperatures will be cooler than Saturday’s weather. However, highs will remain above normal with temperatures ranging from the 50s to high 60s.
Southeast
- A warm easter Sunday is expected for much of the Southeast. Temperatures will range from the mid 70s to 80s.
- Spotty thunderstorms are possible for Louisiana and Mississippi up into Kentucky. The eastern half remains dry with an isolated rain shower possible for south Florida.
Southwest
- Warm weather remains in the Southwest. Temperatures range from 60s furthest north to high 80s in southern Texas.
- Eastern Texas and Oklahoma are at risk for isolated thunderstorms while the rest of the Southwest continues to be dry.
West
- Temperatures will be slightly chilly for the Northwest with highs in the low 50s to 60s. Southern California will see the warmest temperatures ranging from the 70s to 90s.
- A rainy Easter Sunday is possible for central and northern California. Meanwhile, dry conditions prevail for much of the West.
