Severe thunderstorms will race across the Mid-Atlantic and Tennessee Valley Wednesday afternoon and evening.
Storm Details:
A cold front will sweep quickly eastward across the Mid-Atlantic and Tennessee Valley and help ignite the threat for severe storms. Damaging high winds to 70 mph will be the most common threat with these storms. However, across the Tennessee Valley, there is the potential for large hail up to 1.5 inches in diameter (locally bigger) and a few isolated tornadoes.
