Heavy Snow for Areas of Northeast

A wide reaching Northeast winter storm will bring up to a foot of snow to parts of New England. Heavy snow pushing through the Mid-Atlantic has brought 8″-10″ of snow in North Carolina, with eastern Virginia and the DelMarVa Peninsula seeing a foot under continued snowfall.

Snow moves north during the day through Philly and NYC. Both cities will see modest amounts of up to three inches.

Of all the major Northeast cities, Boston will see the most snowfall. Six inches is very possible, and higher amounts are probable in areas south towards Providence. Cape Cod will see the most of any location in the Northeast, where a foot or more is likely.
