A cold front approaching from the northwest will focus isolated severe storms from the Northern Plains all the way into Ontario. The front that brought severe storms to Minnesota, Manitoba, and western Ontario yesterday is continuing its march toward the East. As the afternoon heats up, storms will start to fire across it. The more intense storms of the day will likely march along a line ranging from Detroit through Toronto and north into the Adirondacks bringing the potential for damaging winds and isolated hail threats. These storms will push southeast affecting the southern Great Lakes over the later afternoon and evening hours.
