Severe Threat Moves to Midwest Tuesday

Storm system that brought hail, winds, and tornadoes to the High Plains Monday will push east Tuesday bringing a new batch of severe weather to the Midwest and eastern Plains.

Storms ejecting from Colorado Monday will continue pushing east through the overnight hours Monday night. Tomorrow afternoon, decent instability in ranging from Des Moines to Omaha, down the I-35 corridor all the way into Oklahoma will breathe new life into these storms. The greatest threat from these storms will be strong winds to 65mph, though large hail and isolated tornadoes will be possible.
