We expect hurricane force gusts of more than 120 km/h at the west coast of Ireland this evening. South Ireland, Northern Ireland, West Wales and West Scotland have a high risk for violent storm gusts of 100-120 km/h tonight. In England the Lake District and Cornwall are threatened by gusts of 80 to 90 km/h.
